JKI-601
was developed as a highly thermal stable spin finish
for PES tire cord and other industrial yarns. Since
it can be applied neat or aqueous emulsion it is suitable
for both two step and one step process like.

JKI-601
can be applied
-
neat diluted with a suitable low viscosity mineral
oil
-
as a 13 ~ 18% aqueous emulsion
using
kiss-rollers or a combination of a metering pump
and a application jet
The emulsion
is prepared by slowly pouring JKI-601 into demineralized
water at room temperature
while stirring.
The emulsion should be protected by a biocide.
Recommended
emulsion concentration: 13% ~ 18 %
Recommended
finish level: 0.8% to 1.5 %
The finish
level should be determined by extraction with
petrolether/isopropanol 1:2.

| Storage
stability : At least 12 months under normal conditions.
Storage and
transport : Recommend a storage temperature of
15~30 ¡ÆC
Direct
exposure to the sun should be avoided
Product
solidifies below 15¡É, but can be fully restored
by
warming to 30 ~ 40¡É and stirring.
Further remarks
: References to measurements in case of accidents
and fires as well as further
information about ecology, toxicology, transport
and storage are given in the
separate Material Safety DataSheet.
