JKT-106
is a suitable spin finish for PES flat yarns manufactured
on conventional and high speed machines. It features
an optimized combination of lubricity and low volatility.
JKT-106 is suitable for 1-Step and 2-Step processes
like.
- LOY spinning followed by draw twisting
or draw winding
- POY spinning followed by draw twisting
or draw winding
- FDY (spin-drawing)

 |
| 1)
good wetting properties
2) no tendency
to form gels on intermingling jets
3) low dynamic
friction, therefore suitable for weaving and warp
knitting
4) good bundle
cohesion
5) good static
protection
6) compatible
with most sizes
7) good thermal
stability, for processing up to 180¡ÆC

The
emulsion of JKT-106 is prepared by slowly pouring
into demineralized water at room
temperature
while stirring. The emulsion should be protected
by a biocide.
Recommended
emulsion concentration: 10% ~ 15%
Recommended
oil pick up: 0.7% to 1.2%
The
finish level should be determined by extraction
with petrolether/isopropanol 1:2. |

 |
| Storage
stability : Shelf life under normal conditions
is at least one year. We recommend a storage
temperature of 15 to 30¡ÆC. Direct exposure to
the sun should be avoided.
Storage and
transport : Product can be changed at temperature
below 10 ¡ÆC.
Change
reversible by heating and stirring
Further remarks
: References to measurements in case of accidents
and fires as well as further
information about ecology, toxicology, transport
and storage are given in the
separate Material Safety Data Sheet.
