JKP-703 is used as a spin finish for polypropylene or polypropylene-bicomponent staple fibres subsequently processed into geotextiles and industrial nonwovens. High strengths are achieved after needle punching. JKP-703 is also applied to spunbond nonwovens.

      1) medium to low dynamic fiber/metal friction
      2) good antistatic protection
      3) provides moderate fiber bundle cohesion
      4) prevents fogging and protects against corrosion

Blend of nonionic polyglycolesters and anionic antistatic agents and nonionic emulsifiers.

JKP-703 can be applied as an aqueous emulsion via kiss-rollers or via spray.
Solution may be prepared by addition of JKP-703 to demineralized water of room temperature under
       agitation.

              Recommended emulsion concentration:
                     for spinning and drawing : each 1.0% ~ 3.0%
                     for finishing : 7.0% ~ 12.0%
Recommended oil pick up: 0.3% to 0.6%

The finish level should be determined by extraction with petrolether/isopropanol 1:2.

Storage stability : Shelf life under normal conditions is at least one year. We recommend a storage
temperature of 15 to 30”ĘC. Direct exposure to the sun should be avoided.

Storage and transport : Product can be changed at temperature below 10 ”ĘC.
Change reversible by heating and stirring

Further remarks : References to measurements in case of accidents and fires as well as further
information about ecology, toxicology, transport and storage are given in the
                                 separate Material Safety Data Sheet.
